About The Position

Bridgewater Community is a beautiful, brand-new senior living community that is rapidly growing as more residents choose to call Bridgewater home. With new residents moving in regularly, we're expanding our Memory Care team and looking for compassionate Caregivers and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who are passionate about serving seniors living with dementia and memory loss. Requirements

  • CNA Certification preferred (not required for all Caregiver positions)
  • Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant, Resident Assistant, Personal Care Aide (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Direct Support Professional (DSP) is preferred
  • Experience in Memory Care, Assisted Living, Senior Living, Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, or Home Health is highly valued
  • Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to provide physical assistance with lifting, transferring, standing, walking, pushing wheelchairs, and other resident care tasks throughout the shift
  • Applicants must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings, including a background check, as a condition of employment

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and dining assistance.
  • Provide compassionate, person-centered care for seniors living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other memory-related conditions.
  • Support residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Build trusting relationships with residents and their families.
  • Observe and report changes in residents' health, behavior, or condition.
  • Follow individualized care plans while maintaining resident dignity and independence.
  • Work closely with nurses, medication technicians, and fellow caregivers to provide exceptional care.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
