About The Position
The Career Technical Training Substitute Instructor performs as an instructor in a regular classroom setting, presenting instruction in designated Career Technical Training Trades subject areas. The instructor promotes a positive classroom atmosphere to support student motivation and maintains classroom discipline to maximize learning. The role also involves maintaining student personnel folders and recording and forwarding daily attendance to Student Records. The position is part-time and pays $20.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a drug screen in compliance with the Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
- Successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check is a condition of employment.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of classroom experience.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
