Manages Career Trade Instructors, analyzes training procedures, counsels groups and individuals relative to vocational objectives, develops Corrective Action Plans, and ensures the integration of vocational training with academics. This role involves conducting regular shop visitations/observations, writing and developing SOPs and the Center Training Plan, and attending scheduled meetings with the Center Industry Councils. The manager actively participates as a member of the Youth Council, maintains required Statistical Performance Reviews and Center reports, reconciles them as appropriate, and develops Corrective Action Plans. Additionally, the role includes meeting bi-monthly with vocational staff, ensuring accurate minutes, meeting jointly with academic and vocations to plan Applied Academics, reviewing attendance sheets for accuracy, noting trends or patterns, and establishing appropriate plans of action/discipline. The manager also ensures all custodians/locations complete 3 quarterly inventories per the Property Handbook and that any theft or other losses are reported within 3 business days. Other duties as assigned.
