About The Position
The Career & Technical Education Advisor - Level 1 provides career and labor market information to parents and students in middle school, high school, and adult education programs. This role involves working collaboratively with school administrators, teachers, guidance personnel, community agencies, and local businesses.
Requirements
- A standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program.
- Three (3) years of full-time industry work experience aligned to any Florida Department of Education career clusters.
- OR An earned associate’s degree from an accredited institution or at least 60 semester hours of earned college credit from an accredited institution.
- One (1) year of documented work experience.
- Effective communication skills.
- Computer skills as required for the position.
