About The Position

The Career & Tech Center Coord. at Stuttgart is responsible for assisting the Director with day-to-day management duties of the Career and Technical Center. This role involves maintaining good order and discipline, assisting faculty with academic needs, teaching specific courses, and providing support for student involvement in Skills USA and other assigned work-related duties. The position is with Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA), a multi-campus, two-year college serving Eastern Arkansas, offering academic, occupational/technical, and continuing education programs.

Requirements

  • Organizational skills and a working knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Must have the temperament and ability to work with high school students.
  • Proven management and supervision skills required.
  • Associates degree in an allied health field or licensure in an allied health field with knowledge and skills to teach the listed courses is acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director with day to day management duties of the Career and Technical center.
  • Maintain good order and discipline.
  • Assist faculty with academic needs.
  • Teach the following courses: Intro Medical Professions, Medical Procedures.
  • Provide support for student involvement in Skills USA, and other work related duties as assigned.
