The Title III RPED Grant is seeking a Career Readiness Instructor. This is a grant-funded, non-tenure track position with a salary of $39,520. Continued employment is contingent upon grant funding. The instructor will adhere to guidelines from the Faculty/Staff Handbook, the Title III Grant, US Department of Education, Title III Project Director, Dean of Students, the President, and Alabama Community College System Board of Trustees. Responsibilities include assisting with the development of career readiness lessons, supporting students from enrollment to graduation, conducting mock interviews, facilitating workshops, guiding career exploration, creating an internship and job opportunity database, assessing student progress, resolving problems, staying current on industry trends, maintaining records, collaborating with college departments, tracking student progress and attendance, completing purchase orders, and tracking student graduation and job placement data for reports. The instructor will also perform other duties assigned by the Title III Project Director, Associate Dean of Students, Dean of Students, and the President.
