About The Position
Trinity Industries, Inc. is hiring a Career Product Surface Prep employee at its Fort Worth, Texas plant. The role prepares interior and exterior product surfaces for coating operations by operating automated and handheld blasting equipment and removing scale, corrosion, paint, dirt, chemicals, and contaminants. The position requires following safety rules and practices and may include participation in committees or initiatives, along with other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Operate tools or equipment to prepare interior and exterior product surfaces for coating operations.
- Operate an automated blast system and handheld grit ball blast equipment to remove scale, corrosion, paint, and dirt.
- Purge surfaces of chemicals and contaminants through simple processes.
- Follow all safety rules and practices.
- May participate in committees or initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
