About The Position

Moraine Park Technical College is seeking a full-time, grant funded Career Pathways Coordinator on our Fond du Lac Campus. The Career Pathways Coordinator is responsible for reviewing and enhancing career pathways within the Quality & Advanced Manufacturing program area of study. This position includes analyzing curriculum, evaluating student success data, and monitoring program completion, graduation rates, and embedded pathway credentials. The coordinator will assess credit for prior learning, track transfer outcomes to four-year institutions, and identify trends among students who stop out or switch program areas. This position also includes active engagement with local workforce and community partners. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or related field, two years’ experience analyzing curriculum alignment, student success metrics, completion data, graduation rates, and credential attainment and experience in higher education, workforce development, or student services strongly preferred. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or related field.
  • Two years’ experience analyzing curriculum alignment, student success metrics, completion data, graduation rates, and credential attainment.
  • Knowledge of articulation agreements and transfer processes.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments, institutions, and with external partners.
  • Any combination of necessary experience and qualifications which provides desired knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in higher education, workforce development, or student services strongly preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Business, education or related field.

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with academic leadership, create pathways to advance academic and educational outcomes for adult and K12 learners in the Quality & Advanced Manufacturing program.
  • Coach, mentor and support program faculty on curriculum enhancements. Monitor enrollment, retention, and completion trends within the program.
  • Identify and address academic barriers to retention and completion by coordinating with academic support services.
  • Partner with internal partners and regional employers to promote and align Quality & Advanced Manufacturing program offerings with workforce needs.
  • Seek employer feedback to ensure continuous improvement of the Quality & Advanced Manufacturing pathway.
  • Evaluate and expand Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) opportunities for prospective Quality and Advanced Manufacturing students.
  • Create and launch career exploration initiatives for middle and high school students specific to the Quality & Advanced Manufacturing program in collaboration with K12.
  • Develop and implement actionable strategies to increase adult learner engagement and credential completion. Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach and pathway initiatives.
  • Analyze data including stop out patterns, course success rates, credential attainment and graduation survey results to inform program enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve grant outcomes.
  • Facilitate grant reporting.
