Serves as a career coach by delivering individual and group career planning services to UF students within a specific career cluster. Supports Public Sector career pathways by facilitating individual career planning appointments, drop-in services, and small group coaching for UF undergraduate and graduate students interested in public service. Facilitates customized career and leadership education workshops, for-credit course material, and large group programs for UF undergraduate and graduate students for career pathways. Implement the Career Action Plan and career development theory elements in all workshops and programs. Provides direct service or coaching through center-wide series and cohort programs focused on the professionalization of students. Customizes existing C3 marketing materials and resources for specific career pathways populations. Facilitates external career development programming and outreach to student organizations, campus partners, and faculty to promote career services and the Career Connections Center. Coordinates day-to-day outreach administration and handles logistical functions to support career education programming, including scheduling, reserving space, ordering supplies, communicating with attendees, and other activities. Engages with employers to facilitate their participation in industry education activities related to the public sector such as C3 workshops, outreaches, events, and conferences. Works with team Managers to develop programs to connect students with industry. Aids in maintaining quantitative and qualitative records for various types of interactions for assessment and reporting purposes to demonstrate impact. Responsible for tracking and reporting on student engagement. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of career development trends. Supports the implementation of BCLS signature programming including LeadUF, MLK Day of Service and Presidential Service Awards. Plans and executes workshops for student participants in both leadership and service programming as well as biannual volunteer fairs comprised of 50-60 nonprofit partners coming to campus. Maintains connections with national and international service organizations. Performs other administrative duties as assigned by higher authorities in the department and division. Attend staff and one-on-one supervision meetings to communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors. Participates in department, division and university-wide committees.
