About The Position

We are looking for a proactive employee to provide instruction for LAUNCH’s Pre Employment Transition services that guide and encourage learner development in specific course objectives under the ACCES-VR contract.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus two years’ experience of vocational services and working with individuals with a disability
• Active listening and effective speaking
• Time management
• Critical thinking
• Basic technology/e-mail
• Reading comprehension
• Effective written and verbal expression
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and transportation necessary to meet program needs.

Nice To Haves

• Enrollment in a master’s program or current MBA degree

Responsibilities

• Planning, preparing, and delivering lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning
• Creating and developing curriculum
• Addressing the individual needs of each learner by providing differentiated instruction
• Create a learning environment that is conductive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of adult learners
