About The Position

Ability Beyond is seeking a Career Development Program Manager for their Employment Services team within the ISTPP (Industry Specific Training and Placement Programs). This role is responsible for the overall provision of services and supports for assigned participants, supervising reporting positions, and developing positive relationships with funding sources. The manager will work closely with the management team and other departments to assist with program goal setting, data tracking, and ensuring the success of employment services in their region. The position supports all service areas and requires access to a car.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or no less than eight (8) years of experience.
  • At least two (2) years of related experience as an Employment Specialist or a background in business.
  • Two (2) years of experience in the health services field.
  • A current, valid driver's license.
  • Daily use of a registered and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the assigned Career Development Department and works with Employment Specialists to develop an effective team.
  • Trains and supports assigned staff in all areas of required paperwork and facilitates in-service trainings and staff meetings.
  • Collects, monitors, and completes documentation of required paperwork for state-funded and local business contracts, and is responsible for billing and collection for all funding sources.
  • Develops positive working relationships with third-party payers, regulatory agencies, and others to identify and resolve problems, ensuring continued referrals and making Ability Beyond the provider of choice.
  • Actively participates in provider meetings and networks with external colleagues.
  • Monitors and provides input into employment plans for program participants, ensuring compliance with agency mission, reporting requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Accepts referrals for eligible individuals, establishes caseload goals, and assists staff with goals to meet budgetary expectations.
  • Designs, implements, and evaluates quality assurance indicators and tools for Career Development services.
  • Proactively responds to case management needs and represents Ability Beyond to individuals served, families, professionals, and community/government agencies.
  • Assists the Assistant Services Director/Services Manager in pursuing new funding streams, completing RFPs/Grants, and evolving the department.
