About The Position

Arcosa Lightweight is seeking a Career Control/Process Operator for its Livingston, Alabama plant. The operator monitors and maintains production in a continuous production and processing operation, operates related equipment, and helps ensure production meets process specifications. The role also includes following safety requirements, reporting equipment issues, making minor adjustments or repairs, and providing guidance to less experienced operators. On-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance.
Ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, and climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
Ability to work outdoors in varied conditions, including cold, hot, dry, dusty, and rainy weather.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Experience or ability to operate a front-end loader, Bobcat, and dump truck.

Responsibilities

Comply with industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations.
Provide guidance to less experienced operators.
Monitor production flow.
Maintain production through proper temperature, process speed, and other process conditions.
Set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production or processing operation.
Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production and process specifications.
Report malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor equipment adjustments and repairs.
Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Remove logs from the cooler.
Perform other duties as assigned.
