About The Position

Mercer is seeking a talented individual to join their Career Consulting team. This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office. Mercer specializes in helping organizations design and execute sophisticated workforce strategies, offering consulting, analytics, and data-driven insights. Career Consultants partner with clients to optimize business performance through strategies related to managing, rewarding, and engaging people. Mercer's services cover Rewards, HR Transformation, Talent Strategy, Workforce Planning & Analytics, Communications, and Mobility.

Requirements

  • Progress toward a bachelor's degree
  • Status as a currently enrolled student; candidates should have an expected graduation date in the Fall of 2026 or Spring of 2027
  • Strong academic achievement demonstrated through rigorous course work, and the ability to successfully balance extra-curricular activities
  • Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future is required

Nice To Haves

  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office— specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of data analysis, project management, and presentation design
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Intellectual curiosity; seeking opportunities to develop new skills and apply critical thinking to solve problems
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate with others in a skillful and engaging manner

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis to understand industry and organization-specific issues that could include business strategy, corporate performance, compensation and rewards practices and trends, global expansion, and best practices in career management
  • Collect and examine data relevant to developing solutions in the various practices
  • Analyze clients' strategic, financial, and organizational information to provide insights for more senior members of the project team
  • Participate in team brainstorming sessions to develop client recommendations
