About The Position

We’re looking for a Career Coach who understands what it takes to succeed on the job and can coach others to get there. This role involves leading, coaching, and developing talent by coaching participants to build job readiness, confidence, and career direction. You will translate workplace standards into actionable coaching and feedback, lead orientations and training sessions, and supervise participants during on-site learning or work-based experiences. Additionally, you will guide participants through resume writing, applications, mock interviews, and workplace professionalism to help them transition successfully into employment. You will also identify barriers to employment and connect participants to supportive resources such as transportation, childcare, housing, or mental health services.

Requirements

  • Experience training, coaching, or onboarding employees
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfort managing groups and setting clear expectations
  • Ability to build rapport while holding people accountable
  • Tech confidence (Microsoft Office, databases, or CRM systems)
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License and willingness to drive a company vehicle

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with underserved populations or in workforce development is a plus—but not required.
  • Transferable leadership skills are valued.

Responsibilities
