The Career Coach-Special Projects is responsible for servicing adults and youth (ages 14-24) through the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) program, serving eligible offenders released from a facility through the Partners for Reentry Opportunities in Workforce Development (PROWD) grant program and any special projects. Work involves eligibility determination, individualized assessments, employment planning, case management, progress monitoring, coordinating supportive services, and providing follow-up services to ensure that necessary supports are in place to attain and retain employment. The target goal for customers served is employment at or above the self-sufficiency wage, with job retention tracked for at least one year after exiting the program.
