About The Position

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers is seeking a Career Center Manager to lead a dynamic team and serve as a vital community connector, helping individuals unlock their full potential through employment and workforce development opportunities. This leadership role offers a chance to make a real, measurable impact in the community by overseeing all center operations, coaching staff, cultivating community partnerships, and using data to fine-tune services.

Requirements

4+ years in workforce development, education, nonprofit, or a related field.
Previous supervisory or management experience.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Comfortable traveling locally for community outreach and partner engagement.

Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on training and professional development, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
Develop strong relationships with local employers, educational institutions, chambers of commerce, and community partners to expand job opportunities and support local hiring needs.
Promote the center’s services through outreach, social media, public events, and collaborative partnerships.
Leverage performance metrics and CRM systems to monitor progress, drive decisions, and improve service delivery.
