About The Position
Join Lake Tech as a Career Advisor and help students take their first step toward a brighter future! This is a highly interactive role where you’ll work with prospective students on the phone and in person, guiding them through enrollment and helping them feel confident in their next steps.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills and comfort with high-volume phone and in-person interaction
- Customer service mindset and ability to build rapport quickly
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
Nice To Haves
- Experience with student information systems (Focus or similar) preferred
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students (phone & in person)
- Explain programs and support enrollment for upcoming classes
- Work alongside financial aid and business offices to register students into classes
- Maintain accurate records, paperwork, and documentation for compliance
- Build rapport and support current and prospective students throughout the process
