About The Position

Jefferson Healthcare is looking for a skilled and compassionate Care Team Specialist II to join our Patient Engagement team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping others. Responsibilities include answering patient phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, monitoring and returning voicemails, and verifying insurance information. The ability to multitask and handle patient inquiries with sensitivity and professionalism is a must. Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent required
  • One year of related experience in a clinical or medical office using EMR (especially Epic) or other related experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Service experience preferred
  • Medical Insurance experience preferred
  • Knowledge of navigating complex computer systems preferred
  • Experience or education providing basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Experience answering high volumes of phone calls preferred
