Care Team Assistant - Recovery Room Services - Part-Time - Hillcrest
About The Position
The Care Team Assistant works in collaboration with other care team members to support safe, optimal patient care. The role supports the unit with clerical, patient logistics, equipment and supply, charge reconciliation, and patient service duties. The assistant provides patient care within the permitted scope and under the direction of a clinician, helps patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collects data, and maintains a safe, organized environment. This is a part-time position at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, with 48 hours per pay period and a 12-hour varied shift.
Requirements
- Must be able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider.
Nice To Haves
- Multiple patient care skills preferred.
- Prefer one year of experience in a health care-related field, sterile processing, patient transport, or equivalent responsibilities.
