About The Position

Dawson and Dawson is seeking a compassionate Care Professional to provide non-medical assistance and companionship to clients. The role supports clients’ quality of life by helping with daily tasks and activities of daily living. Weekend coverage is needed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Care Professional may provide specialized support to individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and physical disabilities, and must respond effectively to emergencies. The position also includes attending monthly staff meetings and completing required in-service training and ongoing education modules to meet state-mandated guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be 100% reliable and punctual.

• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
• Compassionate and dedicated to providing excellent client care.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification or previous caregiving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care and support, including grooming, dressing, bathing, meal preparation, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with errands and light household tasks.
• Offer specialized care to individuals with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and physical disabilities.
• Provide medication reminders according to prescribed schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided, including care notes, ADLs, and incident documentation.
• Promptly report client concerns or changes in condition to the supervisor.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations.
• Attend monthly staff meetings to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Complete required in-service training and ongoing education modules to meet state-mandated guidelines.
