About The Position

Dawson and Dawson is seeking a compassionate Care Professional to provide non-medical assistance and companionship to clients, helping enhance their quality of life. The role supports clients with daily tasks, personal care, household needs, and conditions including dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and physical disabilities. Weekend shifts are needed, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

• CNA certification or previous caregiving experience is preferred.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
• Compassionate and dedicated to providing excellent care to clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care and support, including grooming, dressing, bathing, meal preparation, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with errands and light household tasks to help maintain a comfortable living environment.
• Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and physical disabilities.
• Provide medication reminders according to prescribed schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided, including care notes, ADLs, and incident documentation.
• Promptly report client concerns or changes in condition to the supervisor.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations.
• Attend monthly staff meetings to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Complete required in-service training and ongoing education modules to meet state-mandated guidelines.
