Care Partner 7am-7pm $18-24 (Full Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Vitalia Rockside in Seven Hills, OH. This full-time position involves providing direct care and creating meaningful connections with residents during their most vulnerable moments. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, curiosity, and proactivity in assisting residents with their daily living activities. The role requires a positive and energetic attitude, strong communication skills in English, basic computer proficiency, and the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds. You will be an integral part of ensuring our residents receive exceptional care and live in an inclusive and positive environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Must be active; role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Be present and share talents to be a reliable team member.
- Create an inclusive and positive environment by investing whole-heartedly in work, team members, and the community.
- Be curious, ask questions, and engage in personal development, growth, and training.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
