About The Position

The Care Partner supports residents in a senior living community by assisting with daily living activities, participating in meaningful activities, helping serve meals, and communicating with residents, families, team members, vendors, and the public. The role also includes housekeeping and laundry as needed. Candidates should bring kindness and compassion for older adults, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work as part of a team.

This is a full-time day-shift position working 12-hour shifts from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., including every other weekend. The employee must be able to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation, pass a fingerprint criminal background check, and meet health requirements, including a physical exam and TB test.

Requirements

• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who speak only English.
• Ability to pass a fingerprint criminal background check.

• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., including every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Lead and participate in meaningful activities for residents.
• Obtain a food handlers permit if required by state regulations and help serve meals.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, team members, vendors, and the general public.
• Arrive for each scheduled shift with a positive attitude and readiness to work.
• Assist with general housekeeping and laundry as needed.
