Care Partner EVE shift (2pm-10pm)

About The Position

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Care Partner to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents in a senior living community. The role supports residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence, privacy, dignity, comfort, safety, and well-being. Care Partners work as part of a team to create a supportive and nurturing environment. The posted shift is 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current caregiver training or certification as required by the state, such as CNA, GNA, PCA, or DCA, or willingness and ability to obtain it.
Current First Aid and CPR license, or ability to obtain them.
At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect.
Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity.
Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Experience with memory care.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring as needed, following community protocols, licensing regulations, and safety guidelines.
Promote residents’ independence and provide compassionate care, emotional support, engagement, and companionship.
Encourage and assist residents to participate in life enrichment activities.
Perform light housekeeping duties, such as making beds and tidying rooms.
Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
