About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Care Partner to join our team at University Living in Ann Arbor, MI. This part-time role involves creating human connections with residents, providing assistance with activities of daily living, and fostering an inclusive and positive environment. We are looking for individuals who are empathetic, reliable, engaged in their personal growth, and proactive in resident care.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.

Be curious, ask questions, and be engaged in your development, growth, and training within the organization.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
