About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at University Living in Ann Arbor, MI. This full-time position involves creating human connections with residents, assisting them with daily living activities, and contributing to a positive and inclusive environment. We are looking for individuals who are empathetic, reliable, proactive, and eager to grow within the organization. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Invest with your whole heart in your work, team members, and the community.
Be curious and ask questions to understand and find out information.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
Assist persons after a fall.
