About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at University Living in Ann Arbor, MI. This full-time position involves providing essential care and creating meaningful connections with residents during their most vulnerable moments. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, curiosity, and proactivity in assisting residents with their daily living activities. The role requires a positive and energetic attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team to foster an inclusive and positive environment. As a Care Partner, you will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
- Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their vulnerable moments.
- Be present and share talents, being someone others can count on.
- Create an inclusive and positive environment by investing whole-heartedly in work, team members, and the community.
- Be curious, ask questions, and seek to find answers.
- Be engaged in personal development, growth, and training within the organization.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
