About The Position

The Care Partner position at The Parkway Senior Living in Blue Springs, Missouri, is for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, and a proactive approach to resident care. The role involves creating human connections with residents, investing wholeheartedly in the work and community, and being curious and engaged in personal and organizational growth. Care Partners are responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. Arrow Senior Living manages a collection of senior living communities offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care across 25 properties in 5 states, employing nearly 1,400 individuals. The company emphasizes a home-like environment for both residents and team members, promoting internal growth and offering various employee appreciation programs.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents!
  • Positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
  • Possess computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.
