About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at University Living in Ann Arbor, MI. This role is crucial in creating human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments, embodying empathy and a proactive approach to assisting with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. We are looking for individuals who are "Advocates of Empathy," "Generous Gift Givers," "💯," and "Engaged Eggheads," demonstrating a commitment to understanding, presence, inclusivity, and continuous growth. The position requires a positive and energetic attitude, computer skills, and the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds, as well as assist residents with mobility and after falls. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to communicate effectively in English. Criminal clearance is required.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Maintain an inclusive and positive environment.

Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
