About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Rock Creek in Ankeny, IA. This part-time role focuses on providing empathetic care and creating human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments. We are looking for individuals who are present, reliable, invested in their work, curious about learning and development, and proactive in assisting residents with activities of daily living. Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Proactively assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
