About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Medication Partner for their Parkway location in Blue Springs, MO. This role is crucial in ensuring the proper administration of medication, maintaining medication carts, and accurate recordkeeping. The Medication Partner is also expected to proactively assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. The position emphasizes empathy, creating human connection with residents, being present and reliable, fostering an inclusive and positive environment, and engaging in personal and professional development within the organization.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
Appropriately certified per state guidelines, with certification active and in good standing.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Professional in appearance and conduct.
Mature interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.
Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
Health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening and annually thereafter.
