About The Position
Cogir Senior Living is hiring Care Partners to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents in its senior living community. The role supports residents with activities of daily living and promotes comfort, safety, well-being, independence, privacy, and dignity. Care Partners work as part of a team to foster a supportive and nurturing environment. The position is available full-time and part-time on the second (evening) shift, from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Weekend rotation is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CNA certification under state requirements, or willingness and ability to obtain it.
- Current First Aid and CPR license, or ability to obtain them.
- At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
- Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect.
- Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity.
- Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, as needed, while following community protocols, licensing regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Provide compassionate care, engagement, companionship, and emotional support while promoting residents’ independence.
- Encourage and assist residents to participate in life enrichment activity programs.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as making beds and tidying rooms.
- Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
