Care Partner 7am-1pm $18-23.75 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Care Partner to join our team at Vitalia Strongsville. This part-time role involves providing direct care and creating human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, curiosity, and proactivity in assisting residents with their daily living activities. The ideal candidate will be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have strong English communication skills, a positive attitude, basic computer skills, and the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds. The role also requires the ability to assist residents with mobility and post-fall support, and candidates must be criminally cleared.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
- Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Invest with your whole heart in your work, team members, and the community.
- Be curious, ask questions, and be engaged in your development, growth, and training.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
