About The Position
We are looking for someone to be an "Advocate of Empathy," responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments. You will be proactive in assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about residents.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.

- Be engaged in your development, growth, and training within the organization.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
