About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at The Wellington Senior Living. This part-time position offers a competitive wage of $17.50-$24.25 per hour and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. As a Care Partner, you will be an "Advocate of Empathy," creating human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments. You will also be a "Generous Gift Giver" by being present and sharing your talents, "đź’Ż" by creating an inclusive and positive environment, and an "Engaged Egghead" by being curious and invested in your development. A key responsibility is being "Proactive" in assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their vulnerable moments.
- Be present and share talents with residents and team members.
- Create an inclusive and positive environment.
- Be curious and engaged in your development, growth, and training within the organization.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
