About The Position

Partnership for Children of Essex (PCE) is currently seeking a Care Manager Supervisor. This role is ideal for a motivated and compassionate professional who is committed to providing exceptional service and advancing positive outcomes for children and families across Essex County.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology, criminal justice, special education)
  • Minimum of two years of post-master’s supervisory experience in child welfare, children’s behavioral health, juvenile justice, special education, or a related human services field
  • Experience in clinical assessment and child/adolescent development; community-based experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated clinical and cultural competence, with the ability to manage complex cases across child-serving systems
  • Strong writing and computer skills, including experience with data systems and reporting
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
  • Ability to contribute positively to a high-performing, mission-driven team
  • Valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

  • Professional licensure preferred
  • Knowledge of the Essex County community preferred
  • Experience with community relations and resource development is a plus
  • Familiarity with or ability to integrate the Wraparound Model into daily practice
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Prior wraparound experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Advance the mission and values of the Partnership for Children of Essex by supporting staff, children, and families with integrity and purpose
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Care Managers to drive high performance and support ongoing professional growth
  • Promote service excellence by monitoring outcomes, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high-quality documentation standards
  • Provide guidance on complex cases, helping staff navigate challenges with confidence, clarity, and sound judgment
  • Partner cross-functionally to strengthen communication, collaboration, and coordinated care in support of families
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives to build and retain a strong, mission-driven team
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and inclusive team environment aligned with organizational values
  • Coordinate high-quality service delivery and effective resource management across programs
  • Deliver formal and informal presentations within the community to promote the mission and services of the organization
  • Collaborate with the Community Resource Manager and Community Resource Team to assess service utilization, identify gaps, and strengthen resource linkages
  • Serve as a role model to Care Managers, youth, and families by demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and leadership
  • Plan, organize, and facilitate in-service trainings to support staff development and program effectiveness
  • Design, prepare, and analyze reports using systems such as Power BI to support data-driven decision-making
  • Provide insights, analysis, and recommendations to Senior Management and the Board of Trustees to enhance service delivery and resource allocation
  • Serve as a liaison to the Operations Director on matters related to child and family services requiring review or approval
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the organization
