About The Position

This role involves providing personal care services, support, and companionship to residents, assisting with activities of daily living, updating resident care plans based on observed changes, and encouraging resident participation in community programs. Requirements

A positive attitude and love working with people.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
A current certification as a CNA/HHA.
Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid.
Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
Ability to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs.
Use proper body mechanics.

Preferred dementia experience.

Responsibilities

Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support, and companionship.
Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Look for changes in residents' day and personal care needs to update their personal Resident Care Plan.
Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.
