About The Position

This work at home role as a Care Management Assistant, you will support the coordination of member healthcare services by assisting with intake, screening, and triage of care team tasks, while helping ensure that members receive timely, appropriate care. You’ll interact with members, providers, and internal teams to gather information, provide updates, and facilitate smooth communication throughout the care process. Your role includes maintaining accurate and compliant documentation within internal systems, conducting non‑clinical research to support case activity, and monitoring cases for needed follow‑up or program referrals. You will also uphold quality and regulatory standards by adhering to company policies, protecting confidentiality, and supporting compliance with care management guidelines and accreditation requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and multitasking abilities.
  • 2–4 years of experience as a medical assistant or in a medical office setting.
  • Experience with call centers (inbound/outbound) and prior authorizations.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
