Columbia Community Mental Health is a nonprofit agency and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that provides services to individuals with mental, addiction and developmental disabilities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services field or combination of education/experience that qualifies as a QMHA required.
  • History of working cooperatively in a team setting with at least two years relevant work experience preferred.
  • CADC I required or ability to obtain within first year of employment.
  • SOCWI experience preferred.
  • At least two years HR/Care Coordinator 2.2019 working with families/children preferred.
  • Combination of education/experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered.
  • All QMHA positions in the state of Oregon will need to be filled by candidates who are officially QMHP certified or registered with MHACBO.
  • Experience working with underserved, transient populations.
  • Experience working with consumers who have co-occurring mental health substance abuse and physical health issues preferred.
  • Personal experience assisting self or family member in recovery from a behavioral health condition helpful.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating/supporting behavioral health care within CCMH and the referrals to clinically indicated services and supports outside of the agency.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team setting.
  • Maintain effective and professional relationships with consumers and members of the Care Team.
  • Effectively engage consumers in a therapeutic relationship when appropriate.
  • Navigate the pace of a community behavioral health care setting.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Communication with other professionals.

  • Note taking.
  • Ability to remain calm in high stress situations.
