About The Position

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Care Coordinator to join the team at our E 84th St. location in the Upper East Side. Care Coordinators are responsible for supporting patient care by making our patients feel welcomed and valued whilst also controlling the flow of the appointment. Care Coordinators are expected to respond to all phone calls and emails within 2 hours and always within 24hours. Care Coordinators will guide our patients through our out-of-network experience and greet all patients who enter the clinic with a smile. Care Coordinators are expected to execute 5-star customer service. Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support patient care by making patients feel welcomed and valued.
  • Control the flow of appointments.
  • Respond to all phone calls and emails within 2 hours and always within 24 hours.
  • Guide patients through the out-of-network experience.
  • Greet all patients who enter the clinic with a smile.
  • Execute 5-star customer service.
  • Foster a true community environment for both patients and team members.
  • Maintain manual dexterity to manipulate office equipment and make written notations.
  • Use computer keyboard 90% of each workday.
  • Communicate effectively over the telephone.
  • Read information on computer screens.
  • Sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time.
  • Occasionally lift 10 pounds floor to waist.
