About The Position

As a Care Coordinator I, Home Health at MTI America, you will play a vital role in supporting business operations by addressing and resolving inquiries and issues from clients, injured workers, and providers. You will handle referrals, coordinate services, maintain documentation, and ensure efficient communication across internal teams and external stakeholders. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, healthcare, insurance, or administrative support
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
  • Builds rapport with clients, providers, and injured workers while ensuring a positive and professional experience
  • Accurately inputs, tracks, and maintains sensitive information in company systems
  • Clearly conveys information in verbal and written formats and ensures understanding through attentive listening
  • Identifies issues, evaluates options, and applies sound judgment to resolve escalations efficiently
  • Prioritizes multiple tasks, meets deadlines, and maintains efficiency in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensures that all documentation, case notes, and communications are complete, consistent & error free

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in workers’ compensation
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Associate’s degree
  • Experience in a managed care, medical coordination, or claims environment
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare processes

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming referrals, inquiries, and requests from clients, providers, and injured workers
  • Accurately enter, track, and maintain case data in company systems
  • Coordinate services such as scheduling, authorizations, and follow-ups
  • Communicate updates, outcomes, and next steps to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and applicable regulations
  • Assist with resolving escalated issues by collaborating with internal teams and external partners
  • Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission or closure
  • Support other team members and contribute to a collaborative department environment
