About The Position

Companion Thrive provides non-medical support to help clients stay comfortable, safe, and socially connected in their homes or communities. The role focuses on offering companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities to reduce loneliness, and assisting with light daily tasks such as simple routines, mobility support, and basic household activities. Companions help promote a sense of stability and well-being but do not perform medical or clinical care, instead serving as a friendly, reliable presence that supports clients’ independence and quality of life.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license and current car insurance
  • Reliable transportation to travel to client locations
  • Dependable, compassionate, and responsible attitude
  • Willingness to learn and complete required training
  • No CNA or medical certification required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with older adults or in a caregiving role (professional or personal)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, caring, and client-focused personality
  • Interest in healthcare or long-term caregiving career growth
