They are currently seeking compassionate caregivers to join their team, supporting clients in their own home in areas such as Skidegate, Daajing Giids, Graham Island, and the Haida Gwaii area. The agency prioritizes work-life balance with flexible scheduling options, helping clients maintain a high quality of life in the comfort of their homes. Requirements
- Experience working with seniors and/or individuals with disabilities.
- Willingness to work both short and long shifts.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive and friendly attitude.
- Willingness to commute to designated locations.
- A clean criminal record check.
- Must be living in the Haida Gwaii / Skidegate / Daajing Giids / Graham Island area
Nice To Haves
- Possession of a Care Aide certificate and BC registry number is an asset.
- Possession of a driver's license (considered an asset).
Responsibilities
- Providing assistance with personal care and medications.
- Conducting light meal preparation and homemaking services.
- Offering companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with medical escort services
- Assisting with medication management
