About The Position

Join us as a Care Assistant to deliver person-centred care to each of our residents that is as individual as they are. We are looking for individuals who can make a difference and help to transform lives. You will receive full support, including a full training programme and induction. Our Care Assistants' main priority is to ensure our residents' happiness and wellbeing. You will be assisting our residents with washing and personal hygiene, preparing drinks and snacks, and administering medication if necessary. The key is to consider each person’s physical and emotional needs, respecting their individuality and creating a friendly, supportive environment where people are independent and free to make their own choices. We are interested in people for whom caring comes naturally and who put the needs of our residents first. It’s important you can work as part of a team and keep accurate records. Above all, you must be people-focused and enjoy working with our residents. Care Assistants also work night shifts, with key responsibilities including staying awake and securing and locking the building. There is also enhanced pay for working weekends and nights.
