About The Position

Avista is a person-centred, rights-based organisation that is dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with disabilities. We provide a wide range of services including Day, Residential and Respite supports to both children and adults in various locations across Dublin, Limerick and North Tipperary. Avista is looking for candidates who are committed to supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities and their families, in a person-centred, community based, socially inclusive manner in accordance with our core values and ethos and underpinned by quality, best practice and research.

Requirements

Minimum of Fully Completed FETAC/QQI level 5 in Healthcare qualification or (higher) equivalent comparable qualification.
Experience working within the area of intellectual disability.
Experience of working with people who have a diagnosis of Autism and Behaviours of Concern.
Full clean manual Irish driving licence.
Proficiency in the English language.
Possess Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
