About The Position

Corlann is seeking Care Assistants for positions across its services in Limerick City, Doon, and Foynes. The organization is dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, helping them to be valued citizens in their local communities, experience ordinary life, and maintain strong connections with family and friends. They are looking for ambitious individuals with a positive attitude towards working with people with intellectual disabilities, committed to ensuring they lead fulfilling lives. Both permanent and relief contracts are available, with options for day and night shifts. A panel will be formed from this recruitment campaign to fill current and future permanent and specified purpose vacancies, which may be full-time or part-time.

Requirements

Have a minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in an appropriate or relevant field.
Hold a full manual driving license which qualifies you to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish roads.

Responsibilities

Provide a key-working caring role for a group of People Supported by the Services.
Be responsible for all aspects of personal care required during the day, including meals, personal hygiene, and other related aspects of physical well-being.
Assist and support People Supported by the Services with development on Individual Plan's and achievement of associated outcomes.
Support People Supported by the Services in community participation and integration.
