Care Assistant-Weekends
About The Position
We’re looking for kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults across New Romney and surrounding areas. You’ll be required to work Mornings (07:00-14:00) and/or Evenings (16:00-21:00) and alternate Weekends. If you have a caring heart and a friendly smile, you can make someone’s day — from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. At Home Instead, we focus on quality care, offering both companionship and personal support so clients can live safely, comfortably and with dignity. Care as it should be — unhurried, personal, rewarding! At Home Instead, we give you the time to make a difference. Our visits are at least an hour long, so you can focus on what matters — helping someone feel safe, comfortable and valued.
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Full driving licence and access to a car
- Clear English and good communication skills
- A warm, patient and caring nature
Responsibilities
- Supporting older adults with personal care and mobility
- Preparing meals and hot drinks
- Light household tasks to keep their home safe and comfortable
- Companionship, conversation and a friendly face
- Some visits may include more personal health-related support
