About The Position

We’re looking for kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults across Ashford and surrounding areas. You will be required to work Weekends - Mornings : 07:00-14:00 and/or Evenings: 16:00-22:00 with Guaranteed Hours Contracts available for extra security! If you have a caring heart and a friendly smile, you can make someone’s day — from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. At Home Instead, we focus on quality care, offering both companionship and personal support so clients can live safely, comfortably and with dignity. Care as it should be — unhurried, personal, rewarding! At Home Instead, we give you the time to make a difference. Our visits are at least an hour long, so you can focus on what matters — helping someone feel safe, comfortable and valued.

Requirements

Right to work in the UK
Full driving licence and access to a car
Clear English and good communication skills
A warm, patient and caring nature

No Experience? No Problem! You don’t need previous care experience — we’ll train, support, and cheer you on from day one. We’re looking for people with the right values and attitude. Responsibilities

Providing respectful personal care, such as helping with washing, showering, bathing, dressing and personal hygiene, while always maintaining dignity and independence
Supporting with mobility and helping clients move around their home safely
Preparing meals, snacks and hot drinks
Helping with light household tasks to keep their home safe and comfortable
Offering companionship, conversation and a friendly face
Supporting with medication reminders and other health-related tasks where appropriate
