About The Position

Mercy Village is seeking Care Assistants for its community in Fort Gratiot, Michigan. Mercy Village is part of Trinity Health Senior Communities, which has more than 40 communities in multiple states. The role provides supportive daily care and services to residents in accordance with their care plans, helps residents get to meals and activities as needed, and identifies and implements ways to enhance residents’ living experience. The position is available for days, afternoons, nights, or weekends. It works under the direction of the Nurse Manager.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred; students are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive daily care and services in accordance with each resident’s care plan.
• Escort residents to and from meals, activities, and other destinations when needed.
• Proactively identify, develop, and execute solutions to enhance the resident living experience.
