About The Position

The Cardiovascular Technologist assists with preparing, performing, and completing diagnostic and/or interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision. The role requires competency with a variety of equipment and technologies and responsibility for patient care in accordance with hospital and department policies and procedures. The technologist follows safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and themselves, and fosters teamwork through effective communication and flexibility in job duties.

This is a PRN position in the EP Lab. The role requires the ability to work varied hours and shifts.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited cardiovascular program or radiology program with cardiac experience.
• Hold a current CVT or RTR credential.
• Have ACLS and BLS certifications upon hire.
• Obtain RCIS within six months of hire.
• Demonstrate organization, efficiency, a team-based attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective communication.
• Be able to work varied hours and shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Cath lab or EP lab experience is preferred, but not required for candidates with a cardiac education background.
• Two years of Cath or EP experience is preferred, but not required.
• RCES is required after two years of EP experience.
